Tint or PPF Installation Day: What to Expect from Booking to Pickup

If this is your first time fitting window tint or paint protection film, you may wonder what happens on installation day. In short: you book online or through the branch, arrive on time, inspect the car with the technician and confirm your choices, then the car goes through cleaning, preparation, fitting and a final check before you collect it with a warranty card and care instructions.

Step 1: Booking and choosing a branch

Choose your service and nearest branch in Jeddah, Riyadh, Makkah or Al Khobar. You can book online, or pick a branch and contact it on WhatsApp or by phone. Branches are open Saturday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and closed on Friday. Mention your car model and year, the service you want and whether there is old film on the car.

Step 2: Preparing for installation day

1. Ask how long the car will stay; it depends on the service, car size and parts covered.
2. Remove personal items, especially near windows, doors and the boot.
3. Prepare your questions on shades or PPF coverage.
4. Arrive on time, since the schedule is planned in advance.

Step 3: Reception and inspection

The team inspects the glass and paint with you, noting any existing marks. Then you confirm the final choices: carbon or nano ceramic IR70 tint and the shade for each window, respecting official traffic regulations, or PPF coverage: quarter front (40 cm), full front or full car.

Step 4: Cleaning and preparation

For tint, glass is cleaned thoroughly and any old film and adhesive are removed without harming the glass or defroster lines. For PPF, the paint is washed and decontaminated, and may be polished if visible scratches are present.

Step 5: Installation

Film is cut and shaped precisely, then fitted with installation solution and squeegees to push out water and air. PPF needs extra care around edges and curves. Work takes place in a clean, enclosed bay.

Step 6: Final check and pickup

• Inspect the glass and edges with the technician.
• Receive your warranty card with product and installation date.
• Follow the care instructions on when to open windows and wash the car.

In the first days after tinting, slight haze or small water pockets can be normal as the solution dries. Do not press them; contact the branch if they persist longer than advised.
